We don't give discharge instructions, make sure the pvl is loaded correctly, or go over cost. The Techs do all this. We do make follow up appointments and take payment

This course would be useful if our hospital had a better discharge procedure. I am old school and feel that surgical and hospital discharges should be done in an exam room so the client is less distracted, rather than at the front desk where appointment discharges are being done.
