Our Approach

Learning Philosophy

IGNITE's learning framework is built around five research-backed pillars that drive real behavior change — not just content consumption.

1

Personalized & Relevant

Learning is personalized to each individual's unique needs. Learners pick from a growing role-specific library, or hospital leaders assign videos, articles, case studies, and resources tailored to their team. Because all IGNITE content is divided into role-specific groups, every learning object is far more relevant than broader veterinary content.

2

Motivational Support

IGNITE faculty and role-specific communities provide motivational support throughout the learning process. Learners interact with shared best practices, thought content, and guided solutions. Our communities offer a safe space for veterinary roles to feel they're not alone in their challenges — and share ideas under the guidance of faculty.

3

Practice

In-hospital practice, observation checklists, and skill demonstrations interrupt the Forgetting Curve and reinforce learning while holding learners accountable. Learners demonstrate new skills multiple times in their hospitals to reinforce learning, provide unequivocal accountability to supervisors, and teach others. This step is key to success.

4

Feedback

Faculty and study group peers offer consistent feedback to help learners stay accountable and make desired changes. Video demonstrations and case presentations provide a safe way to receive feedback from a diverse group. Unlike typical exams that test short-term memory, IGNITE video exams leave no doubt and offer the most concrete feedback channel.

5

Self-Reflection

IGNITE supports self-awareness and self-reflection, allowing learners to understand and celebrate the learning they embrace. It's like having your own cheerleading squad — a built-in support system that recognizes growth and keeps motivation high throughout the journey.
